When Koos de Kort came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FFC Merainies 03 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koos de Kort couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ferdinant Eulen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Koos de Kort got a free kick in the 31st minute. Teodelina FC's Ubaldo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koos de Kort in the 43rd minute of play.

Eliseo Gaufred's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bertus Waldijk firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 54th minute, Nereo Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertus Waldijk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Gaufred in the 60th minute. After 66 minutes, Humberto Rayman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teodelina FC and the FFC Merainies 03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Milio in the 78th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Bertus Waldijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koos de Kort in the 83rd minute of the match. Bertus Waldijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Milio in the 85th minute of play. After 88 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinant Eulen. Miguel Ángel Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Garci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bertus Waldijk made a huge save. Teodelina FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
