Buenaventura FC's Rolando Peralta got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Rolando Peralta off the ground. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Rolando Peralta got a free kick in the 15th minute. Romel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Cordario in the 21st minute of the match. Victor Toledano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gonza having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Buenaventura FC's Roger Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Gonza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ulpiano Henríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrés Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Vaqueteros FC's Ramiro Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Toledano in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Vaqueteros FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fabio Galindo hit a great ball. Victor Toledano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gonza having to interfere. In the 58th minute Israel Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romel Torrijos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Botello scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romel Torrijos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Rolando Pinilla got a free kick in the 74th minute. Romel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Patrido in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Melchor Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaqueteros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Asier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romel Torrijos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romel Torrijos came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaqueteros FC's Israel Botello. But to his dismay, Israel Botello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 81 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Patrido notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Romel Torrijos. Romel Torrijos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonidas Moscoso's late challenge caught a Vaqueteros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonidas Moscoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Leonidas Moscoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Botello in the 87th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Romel Torrijos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Bonifacio Patrido shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romel Torrijos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bonifacio Patrido scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romel Torrijos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vaqueteros FC had won after a very even match.
