In the 14th minute Cristian Diculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庄傲义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves J.J 狄卫光 could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Martin Găvănescu however easily saved by the left post. Martin Găvănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 吴延明 in the 18th minute of play. Emerald's Martin Găvănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 吴延明 in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Stanciu in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 庄傲义 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, 吴延明 took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Martin Găvănescu to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Emerald's zone, J.J 狄卫南 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Găvănescu came out of the goal and J.J 狄卫南 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Găvănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by J.J 狄卫南 in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

庄傲义 made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Costin Frânculescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.J 狄卫光 in the 55th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Martin Găvănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 魏荣亮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 58 minutes, J.J 狄卫光 made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Emerald's Martin Găvănescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 吕傲文 charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 吕傲文 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Găvănescu had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping 罗适谦's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
