Walmir Freitas started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Henry Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Henry Martinsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Rodolfo Damião. Rodolfo Damião was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Håkansson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Damião saved ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 from getting behind. Jair Messias struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Niclas Allbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24. Rodolfo Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Håkansson in the 21st minute of play. Walmir Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Allbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Albert Hellström with Christopher Biörk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dinei Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Matthias Vallander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Joxa mé trasan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johannes Håkansson in the 32nd minute. Joxa mé trasan's Johannes Håkansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Damião in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johannes Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Johannes Håkansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jair Messias in the 84th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Niclas Allbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Johannes Håkansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rodolfo Damião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Joxa mé trasan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Joxa mé trasan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
