An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Luty in the 2nd minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Duarte's late challenge caught a White Star Troopers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Ziemowit Budrewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Neuer came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by White Star Troopers's Daniel Mentis. But to his dismay, Daniel Mentis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Cafu de Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Radomir Glogowski made a huge save. George Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Bator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Bator took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Neuer. George Neuer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. George Neuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sylwester Luty went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. George Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Budrewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylwester Luty scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Neuer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Lucjan Kaczorowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Budrewicz in the 41st minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Three Lions FC defense, Sylwester Luty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Neuer. The Three Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Neuer should have stopped the shot. Iwan Bator charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iwan Bator the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Iwan Bator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Modrić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iwan Bator scored 0-6 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Neuer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, White Star Troopers's Daniel Mentis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Iwan Bator hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Three Lions FC's George Neuer got control of the ball when Sylwester Luty tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwan Bator who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of George Neuer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Sylwester Luty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Neuer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When Douglas Duarte was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Neuer stood somewhat misplaced when Ziemowit Budrewicz came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 88 minute.
