Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Miguel Merentiel made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 minutes, Jaime Giro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abuba Akotonon FC and the Timmernabben FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Giro. In the 6th minute Fulgencio Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes Timmernabben FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casimiro Bilbo who took care of the corner kick. Timmernabben FF's Jim Åkerman got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Gustafsson. After some careless play in the Timmernabben FF defense, Hipolito Piarres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Brummer. The Timmernabben FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Brummer should have stopped the shot. Börje Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Laurgain charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Laurgain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, one of Abuba Akotonon FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 28th minute, where Timmernabben FF:s Lars Jeppesen tricked Abuba Akotonon FC:s Domingos Iaki with a difficult ball by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titan Palermo in the 30th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Börje Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Brummer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Merentiel's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by David Groth. Erik Willig hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben FF's Ove Nyström got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Abuba Akotonon FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fausto Abarca's late challenge caught a Timmernabben FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Abarca helped the player get up and apologised. Anthon Andersson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingos Iaki. Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC's Domingos Iaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Jeppesen in the 56th minute of play. Jaime Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hipolito Piarres hit a great ball. Jim Åkerman took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Iaki. Domingos Iaki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Börje Brummer made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Hipolito Piarres sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Börje Brummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Shepherd. In the 81st play minute Fulgencio Shepherd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Börje Brummer. 2-3. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Jeppesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Bilbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Timmernabben FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Casimiro Bilbo was slow to take the kick. During this time Abuba Akotonon FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Abuba Akotonon FC's Casimiro Bilbo to fire away a dangerous shot which Börje Brummer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Börje Brummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Shepherd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Merentiel in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Brummer saved Timmernabben FF from getting behind. Börje Brummer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Merentiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 99 minute of play.
