In the 17th minute of the match Kania Gostyń got a corner. Karpaty Krosno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 39 minutes, Boruc Karbowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kania Gostyń and the Karpaty Krosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wasyl Sidorowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 85 minutes into the game, Boruc Karbowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Wasyl Sidorowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wasyl Sidorowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Karbowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Gruchacz came free, but Wasyl Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kania Gostyń fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karpaty Krosno had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
