The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Kaczynski in the 5th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Börje Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Chrobak was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Jesper Ahlkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jesper Ahlkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Timmernabben FF's Lars Jeppesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Chrobak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 17 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Gustafsson. Lars Jeppesen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edmund Chrobak firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 24th minute Boruc Karbowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kania Gostyń's Boruc Karbowski in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timmernabben FF's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Kaczynski in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Brummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmund Chrobak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Gustafsson in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Kania Gostyń getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damazy Zajac hit a great ball. Börje Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Kaczynski in the 44th minute of the match. Alfred Kaczynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Börje Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 53rd minute, Rune Blom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Chrobak was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Jeppesen came free, but Edmund Chrobak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Hludzenski kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Tanek Sitko replaced Alfred Kaczynski. In the 79th minute Boruc Karbowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, David Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kania Gostyń's Wasyl Nikodemski was substituted for Boruc Karbowski. In the 81st match minute, Timmernabben FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Groth to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Erik Willig. In the 89thth minute of the game Tanek Sitko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timmernabben FF's Börje Brummer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Börje Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Nikodemski in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Miromir Miarka got a free kick in the 91st minute. Anthon Andersson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmund Chrobak. Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Timmernabben FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Kania Gostyń for much of the match.
