Roberto Oliverio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Alcantara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Oliverio having to interfere. Roberto Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frisco Mera in the 14th minute of the match. Padro Cordoba kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Picanya FC's Joel Alcantara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Oliverio. Roberto Oliverio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Alcantara in the 23rd minute of play. Aitor De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Petri Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Oton in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Erico. In the 29th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frisco Mera to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Erico struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Petri Bravo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LTA FC. When Gregorio Castulo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LTA FC's protests and gave Gregorio Castulo a yellow card for diving instead. Picanya FC's Joel Alcantara shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roberto Oliverio but with some difficulty. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Gregorio Castulo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of LTA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Picanya FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Picanya FC's Joel Alcantara got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roberto Oliverio. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Alcantara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Oliverio. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Picanya FC's Tito Cifuentes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Oliverio. That made the score 5-0 after 43 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

LTA FC made a substitution. Genaro Mederi replaced Ubaldo Beltxe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Cifuentes in the 55th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Alcantara in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Joel Alcantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frisco Mera came free, but Roberto Oliverio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Cifuentes in the 64th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Erico charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Erico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes, Picanya FC's Frisco Mera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Picanya FC reached it. Roberto Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 73 minutes, Erubiel Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Dominix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Joel Alcantara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Oliverio. LTA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Alcantara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Genaro Mederi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A hard and well directed shot from Joel Alcantara led 80 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 8-0. 82 minutes into the game, Lázaro Ayala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LTA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picanya FC the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Lázaro Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Picanya FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
