Spectators: 7733 (Terracing: 5801, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tobias Jernberg kicked off to start the match. Rickard Wennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Kaczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Edmund Chrobak made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Stefan Asmundsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Nils Hellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 9 minutes, Radoslaw Frenzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kania Gostyń's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radoslaw Frenzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickard Wennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Mieszko Gruchacz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Wennerström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Karbowski came free, but Rickard Wennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Wennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Kaczynski in the 28th minute of play. Rickard Wennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Karbowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mieszko Gruchacz's late challenge caught a Oakcroft Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mieszko Gruchacz helped the player get up and apologised. Mieszko Gruchacz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damazy Zajac during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmund Chrobak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Askberg in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Oakcroft Thrashers got a corner. Kania Gostyń's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rune Alstedt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rune Alstedt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmund Chrobak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 44 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Askberg. After the first half Kania Gostyń were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boruc Karbowski made a kick off. Alfred Kaczynski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Rickard Wennerström 63 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Kania Gostyń's Rickard Wennerström threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boruc Karbowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Fabian Winnicki replaced Tadeusz Hludzenski. In the 74th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Klint to maneuver through the defense. If Tobias Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Wasyl Nikodemski replaced Boruc Karbowski. Tobias Jernberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Chrobak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Jernberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Nikodemski came free, but Rickard Wennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Oakcroft Thrashers's Rickard Wennerström got control of the ball when Tanek Sitko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oakcroft Thrashers's Rickard Wennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Nikodemski in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingvar Lagerberg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rickard Wennerström was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Wasyl Nikodemski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wasyl Nikodemski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Kania Gostyń's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
