Börje Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Oton in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Timmernabben FF's Lars Jeppesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Oliverio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Börje Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Virgilio Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Brummer having to interfere. A collision led to Timmernabben FF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rune Blom hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Virgilio Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Timmernabben FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arsenio Erico who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gaudencio Hernandez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Timmernabben FF's Börje Brummer did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

LTA FC's Gonzalo Txema was substituted for Zeledon Orlanda. The supporters of Timmernabben FF booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesper Ahlkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Roberto Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Brummer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Ayala in the 92nd minute. Lázaro Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LTA FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Timmernabben FF had won, even though LTA FC had held more of the ball.
