The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Indalecio Aznar's late challenge caught a Timmernabben FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Indalecio Aznar helped the player get up and apologised. Indalecio Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Cifuentes in the 14th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Börje Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Jesper Ahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmernabben FF's Börje Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Cifuentes in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Offendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frisco Mera to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Alcantara came free, but Börje Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petri Bravo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Jeppesen in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aitor De Toro to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Alcantara made a kick off. Petri Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Ahlkvist in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Pascua got free with Börje Brummer in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Lars Jeppesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petri Bravo. Picanya FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Jeppesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 66th minute, Lars Jeppesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petri Bravo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Börje Brummer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Alcantara in the 77th minute. When Lars Jeppesen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Timmernabben FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Jeppesen couldn't finish the play. If Joel Alcantara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Börje Brummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aitor De Toro. Petri Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesper Ahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Padro Cordoba hit a great ball. Indalecio Aznar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Picanya FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Timmernabben FF.
