The referee ignored Vestegnens Betonhelte's protests and gave Tony Elborne a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Tony Elborne got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gunner Grishauge was a little too slow when Bruno Tomasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 43 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Salerni. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Elborne to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunner Grishauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Cirone in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Juventus F.C.'s Antonello Pittelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunner Grishauge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Bo Lind got a free kick in the 61st minute. Juventus F.C.'s Amerigo Cesarini got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilmar Irdorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baba Bab during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Amerigo Cesarini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute.
