Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Raymond Verheije started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Holger Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Haesevoets, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Alexander Lundström got a free kick in the 6th minute. Holger Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Verheije in the 8th minute of the match. Bacardi FC's Oliver Pluijssens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Kock in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Lou Haesevoets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Guust Gijselinkx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Pluijssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Bennet in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Pluijssens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bacardi FC's Oliver Pluijssens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Bennet in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Kock came free, but Oliver Pluijssens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Pluijssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Bennet in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Olof Löfkvist hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Roy Bennet made the kick off in the second half. Mathias-Alexander Pellegrims took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Holger Johnsson. Protegéerna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Andrew Van Baerlem in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Protegéerna's Anders Malmberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristoffer Kock during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Kock. Holger Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Verheije in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Roy Bennet put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Oliver Pluijssens. In the 73rd match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Löfkvist to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Diederick Meulders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Johnsson. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Johnsson should have stopped the shot. Oliver Pluijssens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Bennet in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bacardi FC's zone, Roy Bennet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Pluijssens came out of the goal and Roy Bennet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Jos Schaerlaekens replaced Enzo Denys. Oliver Pluijssens was a little too slow when Roy Gallberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-5. The Bacardi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Protegéerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Protegéerna.
