Jonatan Bortzaioriz was slow to take the kick. During this time Congo Bongo's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Congo Bongo's corner Ramiro Blai fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gandolfo Sánchez quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th minute, Ramiro Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, Congo Bongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Maraman to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's Raimundo Nobo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Arsenio Maraman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Congo Bongo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Un dia de partit the free kick. After 18 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Maraman. Baltasar Maria came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Un dia de partit's Oro Gomar. But to his dismay, Oro Gomar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez got control of the ball when Ismael Lehior tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Domeka Alonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C Un dia de partit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Ekaitz Barrios put in a rough tackle. In the 31st match minute, F.C Un dia de partit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekaitz Barrios to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Jonatan Bortzaioriz from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Gandolfo Sánchez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Nisio got free with Gandolfo Sánchez in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Bortzaioriz. 42 minutes into the match, Ramiro Blai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. F.C Un dia de partit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Blai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Eusebio Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gandolfo Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
In the 55th match minute, F.C Un dia de partit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Gil to maneuver through the defense. Gandolfo Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C Un dia de partit's goalkeeper Gandolfo Sánchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gandolfo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Lehior in the 59th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Jonatan Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 78th minute of play forced F.C Un dia de partit's goalkeeper Gandolfo Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C Un dia de partit's Eugenio Canturri got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes, Congo Bongo's Jonatan Bortzaioriz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gandolfo Sánchez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Congo Bongo reached it. When Eusebio Nisio fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Eusebio Nisio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Eusebio Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Lehior. 90 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Nisio came free, but Gandolfo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Gizon in the 95th minute of play forced F.C Un dia de partit's goalkeeper Gandolfo Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eleuterio Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Congo Bongo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
