Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) BiBa's Jan-Peter Kampa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Eddy Claes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marc Stirn, 1-0. In the 7th match minute, BiBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hörnes to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, BiBa's Marc Stirn got control of the ball when Levi Audenaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes, BiBa's Jan-Nicolas Hundt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mattias Morreels came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BiBa reached it. Marc Stirn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Claes in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Wolf Attenberger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Morreels. Purple Talents's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wolf Attenberger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, BiBa's Marc Pell got a free kick in the 27th minute. Mattias Morreels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Peter Kampa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Jan-Peter Kampa made a precise shot to the right of Mattias Morreels. Purple Talents's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Purple Talents's Mattias Morreels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolf Attenberger in the 43rd minute of play. Marc Stirn came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Purple Talents's Levi Audenaert. But to his dismay, Levi Audenaert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddy Claes was the one to do the kick off. Holger Gehling kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Purple Talents's Dirk Smets in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BiBa's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Hörnes was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th match minute, BiBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hörnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Brecht De Wortelaer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marc Stirn skillfully saved the ball. Marc Stirn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Audenaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Leon Mackert fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BiBa's protests and gave Leon Mackert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when BiBa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Mackert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Stirn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Claes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Leon Mackert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mattias Morreels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BiBa getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Holger Gehling hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BiBa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
