Bart De Koq's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Burian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Leo Burian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart De Koq, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, SABALEPLUS's Mattias Morreels threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saturnino Quinton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leo Burian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart De Koq in the 12th minute of play. Leo Burian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Claes in the 13th minute of the match. Bart De Koq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leo Burian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Ondino to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Remco Van Der Elst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purple Talents's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SABALEPLUS the free kick. In the 24th minute, Remco Van Der Elst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes SABALEPLUS got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Leobardo. Mattias Morreels was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saturnino Quinton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Charl Mesmaekers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leo Burian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bart De Koq's late challenge caught a SABALEPLUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bart De Koq helped the player get up and apologised. Bart De Koq kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Leo Burian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart De Koq in the 38th minute of the match. Leo Burian came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Purple Talents's Eddy Claes. But to his dismay, Eddy Claes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Claes made a kick off. Leo Burian was a little too slow when Eddy Claes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. Eddy Claes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Leo Burian made a huge save. Ciro Dantae kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Bart De Koq might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Burian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bart De Koq ran back to his position shaking his head. Birger De Coster's late challenge caught a SABALEPLUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger De Coster helped the player get up and apologised. SABALEPLUS's Leo Burian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SABALEPLUS from getting a goal against them. Leo Burian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddy Claes in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Charl Mesmaekers came free, but Leo Burian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Burian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart De Koq in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Leo Burian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Spoelbergh. Bart De Koq came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leo Burian could save by the left post. 96 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Leo Burian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart De Koq. The SABALEPLUS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Purple Talents were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
