When Oséas Dias came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AF GuiFiguer OUT!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséas Dias couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dadá Maravilha was the one to do the kick off. In the 96th minute Generoso Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
