Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfredo Ekaitz kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Mora during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when C.A Huracan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Toledano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. GuateFortín's Marcelo Quijada got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Viscarra in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes of play, C.A Huracan's Wilfredo Ekaitz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Miguel Marin was left in no man's land by his defense there! GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Jago in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Rios. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Quijada made a kick off. In the 69th minute Wilfredo Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Miguel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GuateFortín players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
