In the 22nd minute, Gerónimo Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Radomil Mindykowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BYDGOSTIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Abel Gana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Rozanski having to interfere. Radomil Kaczynski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Backhouse to maneuver through the defense. Stasio Rozanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mercurio Pasos in the 37th minute of the match. Abel Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Gana to make the kick off. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Abel Gana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Club Deportes Santa Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerónimo Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd play minute Abel Gana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stasio Rozanski. 2-4. After 82 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Wierzcholek. Carlos José Angulo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Jorge Vicente Basay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Brudnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Hieronim Brudnicki made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Vicente Basay. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Deportes Santa Cruz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
