Spectators: 7771 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dadá Maravilha started the match with the kick off. José Maria Loureiro came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Abel Gana. But to his dismay, Abel Gana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Tomás Oliveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodosio Cerda, 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernán Nancupel came free, but José Maria Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Gana in the 24th minute of play. In the 31st minute, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Cafu Bastos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodosio Cerda. Teodosio Cerda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Gana in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Gana to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Oséas Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Cerda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When Iván Dayson fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportes Santa Cruz's protests and gave Iván Dayson a yellow card for diving instead. Iván Dayson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Raimundo Backhouse's late challenge caught a AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Backhouse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Backhouse to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Cerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Dias in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Dadá Maravilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Abel Gana lined in a short shot 4-2 behind a frustrated José Maria Loureiro. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Carlos José Angulo got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 95th minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Teodosio Cerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iván Dayson to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Deportes Santa Cruz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AF GuiFiguer OUT!!.
