Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) In the 3rd minute, Miloš Kuběna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Sebastian Gartzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jiří Brada skillfully saved the ball. Melchor Birila kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Sergio Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiří Brada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Velez Sarsfield's Rodolfo Flores seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodolfo Flores the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Velez Sarsfield protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodolfo Flores had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Velez Sarsfield! Donato Bonifaco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jiří Brada made a huge save. Victorio Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jiří Brada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Radek Husák ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Raymon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pavel Žemlička kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jesus Napier came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jiří Brada could save by the left post. Velez Sarsfield's Isaac Marcones was substituted for Maximino Soin. Darek Doležel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, Lex Academy's Miloš Kuběna made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Raymon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Lex Academy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sarsfield's zone, Milan Křepelka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Raymon came out of the goal and Milan Křepelka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Angelo Seme hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radek Husák. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Sebastian Kudělka got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jakub Bačík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milan Křepelka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Raymon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miloš Kuběna during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lex Academy getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Miloš Kuběna hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Pavel Žemlička got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jesus Napier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jiří Brada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Velez Sarsfield were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Lex Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Melchor Birila took the corner. The corner ended in Melchor Birila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lex Academy's Jiří Brada did a great save. Milan Křepelkas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Uriel Raymon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jesus Napier might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jiří Brada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Napier ran back to his position shaking his head. Jiří Brada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Procopio in the 94th minute of play. If Eusebio Procopio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lex Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
