Manly FC's Case Tisdell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Manly FC's Case Tisdell got control of the ball when Radek Husák tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jiří Brada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwardo Marsland in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Lex Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miloš Kuběna to maneuver through the defense. When Radek Husák fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lex Academy's protests and gave Radek Husák a yellow card for diving instead. Radek Husák hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Manly FC's Edwardo Marsland in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lex Academy's goalie prevented a goal. If Jakub Bačík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Edwardo Marsland came free, but Jiří Brada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Case Tisdell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miloš Kuběna. Miloš Kuběna struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Case Tisdell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lex Academy. Jiří Brada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stevie Gerrard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Case Tisdell managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Lex Academy's Radek Husák fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Radek Husák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Case Tisdell having to interfere. In the 39th minute, one of Lex Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lex Academy. With a little luck, Manly FC's Case Tisdell got control of the ball when Radek Husák tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwardo Marsland made a kick off. Case Tisdell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Bačík's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Jiří Brada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Barling in the 57th minute. Case Tisdell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miloš Kuběna in the 59th minute of the match. Manly FC's Case Tisdell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milan Křepelka in the 61st minute of play. After 62nd play minutes Radek Husák shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Case Tisdell and just under the crossbar into goal. Milan Křepelka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stevie Gerrard hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Richard Strouhal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Case Tisdell. Manly FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Milan Křepelka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Case Tisdell was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Lex Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloš Kuběna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Case Tisdell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milan Křepelka went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Milan Křepelka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Case Tisdell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Lex Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Křepelka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
