Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Velez Sarsfield's Isaac Marcones started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fletcher Brennand in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Timoteo Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Berbiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Case Tisdell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Ed Convine got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwardo Marsland in the 21st minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Marcones was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Velez Sarsfield's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cullen Fordham's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sebastian Gartzi hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Case Tisdell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Napier. Uriel Raymon came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Kent Barling. But to his dismay, Kent Barling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manly FC's Case Tisdell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Vaughan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwardo Marsland in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 72nd minute, Eusebio Procopio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez Sarsfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Isaac Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Case Tisdell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Marcones in the 77th minute of the match. Case Tisdell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Case Tisdell didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Velez Sarsfield's Isaac Marcones shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Calvin Vaughan got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cullen Fordham took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Raymon. Uriel Raymon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 95th minute, Timoteo Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manly FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
