Spectators: 7772 (Terracing: 5830, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ionel Lung kicked off to start the match. The supporters of El ABUELO FC booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Groza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as El ABUELO FC's Alfredo Joachim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gheorghe Vărzaru. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After 11 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Dimas. 18 minutes into the match, El ABUELO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Lung came free, but Gaudencio Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Cristoiu in the 19th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Gavril Groza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Groza, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Evelio Bladi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gheorghe Vărzaru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, Leonard Dabija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Joachim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El ABUELO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 35 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Chivu. El ABUELO FC's Diego Hori couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Buzău. 39 minutes into the match, Gavril Groza notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny. Gaudencio Manny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gheorghe Vărzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Joachim in the 44th minute of the match. Ionel Lung scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Manny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Evelio Bladi made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Florin Barascu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Lung in the 61st minute of play. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Cordarin in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Cordarin in the 89th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Vărzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
