Marcu Panait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Hartz having to interfere. Viorel Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Vulcănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Segundo Hartz made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Tudor Vulcănescu charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tudor Vulcănescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when Fc Lothlorien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Vulcănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Dudău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Ulizes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 76th minute, Amadeo Cresencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tudor Vulcănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Hartz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fc Lothlorien's Luca Zglimbea got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Panait in the 91st minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Segundo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Primitivo Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Fc Lothlorien players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Primitivo Salvatore got a free kick in the 94th minute. Fc Lothlorien's Valer Mălaimare got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
