Sergio Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Wenerdahl having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bernabe Bazil made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Höijer in the 56th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Camilo Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Höijer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Santiago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play.
