The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Wennerström came free, but Johans Ortubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johans Ortubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Markusson in the 12th minute of play. Johans Ortubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Biörnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ovidio Varez hit a great ball. Pagomari Portilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ludwig Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monitor Huáscar's protests and gave Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oxel Viñales got free with Ludwig Wenerdahl in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 49th minute, Monitor Huáscar's Oxel Viñales dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oxel Viñales made the kick off in the second half. Oscar Biörnberg in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Johans Ortubia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pagomari Portilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monitor Huáscar's supporters rose to their feet, but Pagomari Portilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Wenerdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludwig Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oxel Viñales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Vasco Celerain got a free kick in the 60th minute. Monitor Huáscar's Johans Ortubia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Monitor Huáscar from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Varez to maneuver through the defense. Pagomari Portilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ludwig Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johans Ortubia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Höijer went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pagomari Portilla in the 93rd minute of play forced Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Ludwig Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Oscar Biörnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scrotum Kickers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Biörnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 99 minutes into the game, Valentin Odén recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johans Ortubia. Valentin Odén showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When the match was over Scrotum Kickers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monitor Huáscar throughout the match.
