Federico Nobile charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Scofield Volante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frede Raunsholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After the first half Hvam FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frede Raunsholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sylvester Toxwenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Cianci in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's Cesare Di Loreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylvester Toxwenius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ciro Biondi put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sylvester Toxwenius. Hvam FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Squadra de Pippe's much stronger midfield.
