Johans Ortubia had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Lirian Rajkovski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lirian Rajkovski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes, Monitor Huáscar's Txanton Sedeño shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ognen Zografski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monitor Huáscar reached it. In the 24th minute, Steven Fortis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johans Ortubia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dritan Kralevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 31 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dritan Kralevski in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johans Ortubia saved Monitor Huáscar from getting behind. When Red Bull Club's Oliver Rajkov in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ognen Zografski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Lirim Atanasovski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when Red Bull Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Risto Cukovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Risto Cukovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Risto Cukovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
