The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrea Cianci kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Martinsson in the 8th minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Scofield Volante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Barchiesi charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenico Barchiesi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domenico Barchiesi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Michael Böcklund struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Scofield Volante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Rocco. After 14 played minutes Squadra de Pippe got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Biondi. If Thomas Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Squadra de Pippe's Scofield Volante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Åman in the 19th minute of play. Scofield Volante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Team Rocco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Biörling to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Squadra de Pippe's Andrea Cianci tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Alexander Skytt came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Team Rocco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Skytt couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Carl Höijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Böcklund came free, but Scofield Volante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Åman to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Domenico Barchiesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute of the match Oskar Biörling sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scofield Volante skillfully saved the ball. When Squadra de Pippe's Andrea Cianci in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Rocco's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Team Rocco's Kurt Ståhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scofield Volante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 65th minute of the match Oskar Biörling sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scofield Volante skillfully saved the ball. Thomas Åman's late challenge caught a Squadra de Pippe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Åman helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Åman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Squadra de Pippe's Diego Coccia got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Thomas Åman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scofield Volante. Squadra de Pippe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Åman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 80th minute of the match Andrea Cianci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Bergman skillfully saved the ball. Carl Höijer hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Team Rocco's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
