Oxel Viñales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Camilo Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oxel Viñales in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monitor Huáscar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pagomari Portilla in the 6th minute. The corner led Monitor Huáscar's Pagomari Portilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Santiago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Pagomari Portilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pagomari Portilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Oxel Viñales came free, but Camilo Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, one of Big Babousa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Johans Ortubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Bazil in the 31st minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Bertran to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Pagomari Portilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Santiago skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordero Casuso was the one to do the kick off. Big Babousa's Camilo Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Bernabe Bazil got a free kick in the 66th minute. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Humberto Sagasti replaced Ovidio Varez. In the 67th minute, Bernabe Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Monitor Huáscar's Cordero Casuso in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
