Aníbal Netto took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Ivaňo. Rudolf Ivaňo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Fontes in the 16th minute of play forced Dolinka FK's goalkeeper Rudolf Ivaňo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Vojtek came free, but Samuel Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Kasenčák in the 41st minute of play. Matúš Molnár's late challenge caught a XV de Piracicaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matúš Molnár helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Dolinka FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matúš Molnár to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

With a little luck, XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade got control of the ball when Matej Kasenčák tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chants of Dolinka FK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as XV de Piracicaba had held the ball for most of the match.
