The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Dolinka FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matej Kasenčák didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Dolinka FK's Rudolf Ivaňo got control of the ball when Hansjörg Görlitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Dolinka FK's Matej Kasenčák nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Lübke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matej Kasenčák stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ivan Galoša came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Dolinka FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Galoša couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Peter Vojtek fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Olaf Lübke, passed just outside the right post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hansjörg Görlitz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ivan Galoša managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolinka FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Galoša was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Lübke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ladislav Fabiš was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Dolinka FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Matej Kasenčák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolinka FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matej Kasenčák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Peter Vojtek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Lübke was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Ladislav Fabiš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Dolinka FK's Matej Kasenčák dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7.
