Niko Willams started the match with the kick off. Nelsinho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Loukas Kanavidis made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Haruna Hassan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Loukas Kanavidis. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After 10 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Fontes. The supporters of XV de Piracicaba booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Lagonikakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haruna Hassan in the 13th minute of play forced tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper Loukas Kanavidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yamine Lamalle to maneuver through the defense. Loukas Kanavidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Paranaense in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulisses Fontes who took care of the corner kick. Loukas Kanavidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Konstantinos Lazaropoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Andrade. XV de Piracicaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstantinos Lazaropoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 26 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Netto. Samuel Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ntinos Mouratis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Niko Willams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Samuel Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Willams in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Lazaropoulos in the 36th minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Samuel Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niko Willams in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Niko Willams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Willams in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to tHe SOnS of rAGnar getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Odysseas Michelakis hit a great ball. In the 45th play minute Nelsinho Paranaense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Loukas Kanavidis. 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Samuel Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Lazaropoulos in the 50th minute of the match. Samuel Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Lazaropoulos in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade got control of the ball when Niko Willams tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Coelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Ntinos Mouratis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When João Augusto de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XV de Piracicaba's protests and gave João Augusto de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. João Augusto de Amaral hit a great ball. Nelsinho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Nelsinho Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Kanavidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
