Spectators: 7664 (Terracing: 5749, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Haruna Hassan made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the match, Peter Vičan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Andrade. XV de Piracicaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Vičan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu de Amorim in the 8th minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Antón Boldižár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ján Kuric in the 9th minute. Tadeu de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antón Boldižár having to interfere. Haruna Hassan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antón Boldižár came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by XV de Piracicaba's Ulisses Fontes. But to his dismay, Ulisses Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Samuel Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marián Bečka in the 19th minute of play. Antón Boldižár didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu de Amorim went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Haruna Hassan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Nelsinho Paranaense sped through FC Kukova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antón Boldižár. With 35 minutes on the clock, Anísio Netto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th minute, one of XV de Piracicaba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XV de Piracicaba. 38 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Paranaense came free, but Antón Boldižár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antón Boldižár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haruna Hassan in the 40th minute of the match. Samuel Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Vičan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Paranaense came free, but Antón Boldižár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Kukova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. XV de Piracicaba were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ján Kuric to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tibor Hurban hit a great ball. XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Kuric in the 55th minute of play. Antônio Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Miroslav Mastiš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ivan Moravčík hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Haruna Hassan came free, but Antón Boldižár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match FC Kukova got a corner. XV de Piracicaba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miroslav Mastiš ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 79th minute, Peter Vičan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kukova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Nelsinho Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu de Amorim. Nelsinho Paranaenses short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Antón Boldižár to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ulisses Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the XV de Piracicaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Fontes couldn't finish the play. Antón Boldižár didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelsinho Paranaense went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After 93 minutes of play, FC Kukova's Peter Vičan made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched XV de Piracicaba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
