The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silviu Medrea hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fortunato Malvezzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mircea Avacariței. FC Urzicuța's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Malvezzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 6 minutes, Ettore Abete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duri come il marmo and the FC Urzicuța players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Ettore Abete got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gheordunescu. If Fortunato Malvezzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Avacariței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Malvezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Fortunato Malvezzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duri come il marmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Malvezzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Ivan Gheordunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Bratoloveanu. In the 30th minute, Andrei Nicola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Sciamanna during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Urzicuța's Andrei Nicola was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Arrigo Del Grosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Nicola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd play minute Tudor Bratoloveanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arrigo Del Grosso. 2-1. Arrigo Del Grosso made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Leonard Fința sent off a good shot on target.

In the 53rd minute, Andrei Nicola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Urzicuța fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Andrei Nicola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Duri come il marmo booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Nicola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mircea Avacariței showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Nicola in the 62nd minute of play forced Duri come il marmo's goalkeeper Arrigo Del Grosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Del Grosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Fința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, Duri come il marmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Malvezzi to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Malvezzi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Arrigo Del Grosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Fința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Fința in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Del Grosso saved Duri come il marmo from getting behind. Leonard Fința struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Arrigo Del Grosso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Urzicuța. In the 83rd minute Andrei Nicola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Del Grosso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Tudor Bratoloveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Urzicuța's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Bratoloveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Di Crescenzo in the 87th minute of play. Arrigo Del Grosso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Fința in the 88th minute of play. Ivan Gheordunescu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Andrea Pavia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Urzicuța were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Duri come il marmo for a fine match.
