In the 4th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Di Matteo to maneuver through the defense. Theofilos Tripitsidis struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Alberto Tomei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerkyra FC. Alberto Tomei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giorgos Maragozis's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Kerkyra FC's Giorgos Maragozis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Tomei was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in FC Mims's zone, Giorgos Maragozis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Tomei came out of the goal and Giorgos Maragozis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 26 in the game by Alessio Ubriaco from a close distance when the talented Loukas Kois managed to make a qualified save. Kerkyra FC's players were relieved. Giorgos Maragozis scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Tomei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eutichios Dridakis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. FC Mims's Alessio Ubriaco got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Kyriakos Lavdas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Mims's Alberto Tomei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Tomei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kostas Kazakopoulos went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alberto Tomei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Maragozis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Giorgos Maragozis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Tomei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

Alberto Tomei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 56th minute. Kyriakos Lavdas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerkyra FC made a substitution. Theofanis Kalivatsis replaced Dimitris Kalogirou. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 68th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Alberto Tomei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tomei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Maragozis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 81 minutes, Eutichios Dridakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerkyra FC and the FC Mims players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutichios Dridakis to maneuver through the defense. Kerkyra FC's Christos Giannou was substituted for Giorgos Maragozis. Eutichios Dridakis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Carmine Pennetta hit a great ball. The long shot by Theofilos Tripitsidis in the 85th minute really tested Alberto Tomei's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eutichios Dridakis got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eutichios Dridakis kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Bruno Ansoldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The FC Mims fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kerkyra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
