The tension between the Osmanlı İmparatorluğu and the Kerkyra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Giorgos Maragozis sped through Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Muhammet Uğurlubay. Dimitris Kalogirou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yüksel Mukaddes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loukas Kois. Loukas Kois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Theofilos Tripitsidis's late challenge caught a Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theofilos Tripitsidis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Ignatios Kanadopoulos got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 40th minute, Cevdet Özdoğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by İzzet İncirli in the 42nd minute of play forced Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Loukas Kois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Muhammet Uğurlubay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Theofanis Kalivatsis scored to the left of an out of position Muhammet Uğurlubay, making the score, 2-4. Kerkyra FC's Ignatios Kanadopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when Osmanlı İmparatorluğu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Rıfat Mevlit didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Theofanis Kalivatsis took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Muhammet Uğurlubay to make any attempt to save it. Theofanis Kalivatsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
