The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ellis Sawbridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ellis Sawbridge hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Albert Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazid Debuire in the 15th minute of the match. Albert Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Quesada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Ruben Bénier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saint Côme de Fresné's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Obscurials the free kick. Ruben Bénier hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, The Obscurials's Patrice Sénéchal threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarvis Locke, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarvis Locke to maneuver through the defense. When Firmin Boulogne fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Firmin Boulogne a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Firmin Boulogne. Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Côme de Fresné from getting a goal against them. The Obscurials's Lance Morey got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carver Jackson during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of The Obscurials:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saint Côme de Fresné:s goal. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Ellis Sawbridge got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Saint Côme de Fresné's Ruben Bénier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ruben Bénier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Saint Côme de Fresné protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ruben Bénier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Quesada was the one to do the kick off. When Côme Durieu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Côme Durieu a yellow card for diving instead. Côme Durieu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Bradley Grieve notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal. Patrice Sénéchal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Lance Morey. Ellis Sawbridge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrice Sénéchal having to make a save. In the 63rd minute Lance Morey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Sénéchal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Ellis Sawbridge got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A hard shot by Firmin Boulogne from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Albert Day's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Albert Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yazid Debuire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Archie Belford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Quesada in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Jarvis Locke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Sénéchal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jérémy Le Boucher kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Obscurials's Archie Belford got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saint Côme de Fresné had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
