The supporters of The Hanging Tree booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Locke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Day acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Onofre. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Abaunza was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, The Hanging Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Morey came free, but Eleuterio Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
