Spectators: 7792 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Witalis Kolbert got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of KS Blizne booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Barber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leszek Domin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Conal Knight-Percival. 7 minutes into the game, Leszek Domin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. David Seaman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes of play, Ampthill FC's Garry Aspinall made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Awizo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ampthill FC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Marek Maurycy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Seaman. That made the score 2-1 in the 22 minute of play. Witalis Kolbert scored 3-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Seaman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Witalis Kolbert kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. David Seaman was a little too slow when Witalis Kolbert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 4-1. KS Blizne's Daniel Awizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Aspinall in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, KS Blizne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Kolacki to maneuver through the defense. Leszek Domin charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leszek Domin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Leszek Domin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Ferrell was the one to do the kick off. Dave Ferrell kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Franciszek Kolacki's late challenge caught a Ampthill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franciszek Kolacki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KS Blizne getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Franciszek Kolacki hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Leonard Kostrzewa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Blizne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Kolbert in the 64th minute of the match. David Seaman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marek Maurycy went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the game, Witalis Kolbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. David Seaman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conal Knight-Percival in the 77th minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Daniel Awizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Awizo. That made the score 8-2 after 81 minutes of play. KS Blizne's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Dave Ferrell scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Awizo, making the score, 8-3. Daniel Awizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conal Knight-Percival, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariasz Karp kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Witalis Kolbert came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the KS Blizne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Kolbert couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS Blizne fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ampthill FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
