After 6 minutes, Wasyl Dubiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy Team U18 and the Gonzo Style f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gonzo Style f.c booed when Galaxy Team U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enrico Tassotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper Lucjan Gierlach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrico Tassotti. Enrico Tassotti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Lucjan Gierlach skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13th minute Augusto Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Gierlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Gierlach made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Enrico Tassotti sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliusz Mietus came free, but Christian Pelliccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Jacek Witek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy Team U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gonzo Style f.c the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Galaxy Team U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Witek to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Enrico Tassotti could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Lucjan Gierlach however easily saved by the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's Aureliusz Mietus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Pelliccioni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aureliusz Mietus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the game, Galaxy Team U18's Leonard Furgat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Pelliccioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Gonzo Style f.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galaxy Team U18 were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrico Tassotti made a kick off. Aureliusz Mietus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Pelliccioni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gonzo Style f.c's goalie and right to Jacek Witek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gonzo Style f.c's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 58th minute Galaxy Team U18 were awarded a corner. Przemyslaw Zahemski went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Galaxy Team U18's corner Przemyslaw Zahemski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Pelliccioni quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aureliusz Mietus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxy Team U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliusz Mietus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Pelliccioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 65 minutes, Aureliusz Mietus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Team U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Mietus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Zisser to maneuver through the defense. Christian Pelliccioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliusz Mietus took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Pelliccioni. Christian Pelliccioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Galaxy Team U18's Damian Malewicki was substituted for Leonard Furgat. In the 79th minute, Augusto Vieri made a precise shot to the right of Lucjan Gierlach. Galaxy Team U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Davide Zisser kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Mietus. Christian Pelliccioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Malewicki in the 91st minute of play. Damiano Mian's late challenge caught a Galaxy Team U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damiano Mian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Damiano Mian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzo Style f.c's zone, Aureliusz Mietus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Pelliccioni came out of the goal and Aureliusz Mietus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Galaxy Team U18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galaxy Team U18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
