In the 30th minute Augusto Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Pelliccioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Enrico Tassotti sped through Ampthill FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Seaman. Amerigo Giardino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gonzo Style f.c's goalie prevented a goal. Gonzo Style f.c's Christian Pelliccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Ferrell in the 44th minute of play. Dave Ferrell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Christian Pelliccioni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Enrico Tassotti made the kick off in the second half. 1-4 became the score in the 52nd minute when Enrico Tassotti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Tod Hay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Ferrell in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Pelliccioni saved Gonzo Style f.c from getting behind. Garry Aspinall charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garry Aspinall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Garry Aspinall hit a great ball. After 66 minutes, Dave Ferrell made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Gonzo Style f.c's Christian Pelliccioni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Gonzo Style f.c's Enrico Tassotti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Enrico Tassotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Tassotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Seaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Davide Zisser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Tocci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Seaman having to interfere. Tod Hay kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Enrico Tassotti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Seaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. The audience was convinced that Dave Ferrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Pelliccioni was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Dave Ferrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Pelliccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
