After 9 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Dino Angelici. Jurand Filipowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anthony Bondi. A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Angelo Di Blasio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.S. Udinese reached it. Edward Kosowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Corna in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Dino Angelici notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Edward Kosowski. Edward Kosowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radomil Sochacki to make the kick off. A collision led to KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zachariasz Henryk hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Di Crescenzo in the 56th minute of play forced KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Edward Kosowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Kosowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Angelici, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Dino Angelici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Pisarczyk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Edward Kosowski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when A.S. Udinese's Anfilogino Di Crescenzo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 80th minute Anfilogino Di Crescenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Kosowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Balestra struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Edward Kosowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anfilogino Di Crescenzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. In the 93rd minute, Fryderyk Bobrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, A.S. Udinese's Enrico De Simone tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amos Farese lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A.S. Udinese had won after a very even match.
