In the 16th minute Pacôme Cugnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fabio Munio hit a great ball. Isidoro Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malik Vrignon, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Severino Gaskon could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Jules Triboulet however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Gildas Montaut notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Celestiales's Isidoro Javiero. Isidoro Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Anastasio Lixandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Celestiales's Anastasio Lixandro made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jules Triboulet was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Anastasio Lixandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jules Triboulet. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jules Triboulet should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Herblay booed when Celestiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Gildas Montaut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isidoro Javiero. The goal made the score 5-3. Herblay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Celestiales had won, even though Herblay had held more of the ball.
