Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Burak Kalhan to make the kick off. Altar SK 1283's Zülfikar Babürşah got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timur Kerem in the 96th minute of play forced The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Tomás Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
