An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Cumplido in the 8th minute of play forced Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Rudolph Jackson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Maurilio Mendoza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Corbett Rosenboom came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maurilio Mendoza could save by the left post. Antonio Cumplido charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Cumplido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Cumplido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Thomas Thomas fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeton United FC's protests and gave Thomas Thomas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Thomas Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Baez FC's Abelado Iriarte got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Leeton United FC's Corbett Rosenboom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurilio Mendoza. Maurilio Mendoza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Corbett Rosenboom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Maurilio Mendoza made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Roach came free, but Maurilio Mendoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent Baxter kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Remington Raison's late challenge caught a Baez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remington Raison helped the player get up and apologised. Remington Raison hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corbett Rosenboom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Leeton United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Fasey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolph Jackson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Couve in the 57th minute of the match. Corbett Rosenboom hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Baez FC defense, Thomas Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurilio Mendoza. The Baez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurilio Mendoza should have stopped the shot. Rudolph Jackson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Couve in the 68th minute of play. If Adriano Couve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurilio Mendoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corbett Rosenboom in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Baez FC defense, Bruce Roach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurilio Mendoza. The Baez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurilio Mendoza should have stopped the shot. After 84 played minutes Leeton United FC got a freekick which was hit by Corbett Rosenboom. Maurilio Mendoza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Thomas went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Phillip Waterland hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Leeton United FC's Rudolph Jackson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cumplido in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute Thomas Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Mendoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Leeton United FC's corner Dalton Fasey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurilio Mendoza quite easily take care of the ball. The Leeton United FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
