With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ture Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ture Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Dehais in the 35th minute of the match. Malik Vrignon charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malik Vrignon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malik Vrignon to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Staffan Westerberg in the 39th minute really tested Jules Triboulet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sven-Arne Möllgren charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Arne Möllgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Bora Bora got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Möllgren. In the 43rd minute of the match Antonin Daguerre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ture Nyman skillfully saved the ball. Malik Vrignon got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malik Vrignon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bora Bora players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Herblay were winning 0-1.

51 minutes into the game, Herblay's José Dehais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ture Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 54 minutes into the match, Herblay's José Dehais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ture Nyman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernt Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Triboulet having to interfere. Antonin Daguerre hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nils-Åke Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jules Triboulet was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Gildas Montaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ture Nyman made a huge save. Gildas Montaut in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ture Nyman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Dehais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Nyman having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonin Daguerre in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Nyman saved Bora Bora from getting behind. In the 95th minute of the match, José Dehais tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ture Nyman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nils-Åke Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Jules Triboulet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bora Bora. Herblay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
