Olimpiu Tapalagă came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandro Guzmán could save by the left post. 4 minutes into the game, Adrian Hâldan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Berea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera AFC the free kick. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Hâldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Blai in the 6th minute of the match. Moise Boacă kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Teo Estebano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dacian Iurea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sandro Guzmán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Arotăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Blai in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Arotăriței in the 26th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Sandro Guzmán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Oxarra's late challenge caught a FC Berea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Oxarra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Basarab Arotăriței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Guzmán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Guzmán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berea Luca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Tapalagă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Berea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera AFC the free kick. A collision led to FC Berea getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Olimpiu Tapalagă hit a great ball. Moise Boacă was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Moise Boacă kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Coraș to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Basarab Arotăriței made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alejo Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Arotăriței came free, but Sandro Guzmán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Guzmán came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței. But to his dismay, Basarab Arotăriței quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Berea Luca hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The long shot by Teo Estebano in the 69th minute really tested Dacian Iurea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sandro Guzmán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berea Luca, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Martin Coraș hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Coraș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Iurea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Brian Aguirre. Basarab Arotăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Arotăriței took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Guzmán. Sandro Guzmán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frontera AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Berea.
